Whatever your goal is, planning your meals is a useful approach to make sure you are eating correctly and may make a major difference to your objectives and your wallet.

I always advise my clients that physical activity and a balanced diet are key elements of a healthy lifestyle, and meeting the nutrients required by the body is essential to get the most out of your training program.

A proper nutrition plan helps to maintain a healthy body weight and reduces the risk of diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular conditions and cancer. Planning your own meals will not only allow you to eat healthy, but it will also help to save time, money and avoid food wasting.

 

 

My clients often ask me about nutrition advice that I am very happy to offer, however, in some cases, advice is not enough and a proper meal plan is necessary. The professionals who are allowed to draw up a meal plan are the dietitian and the nutritionist, no one else: not the Personal Trainer, not the Physiotherapist, not the Sports Therapist, etc…. It does not matter if they have a Nutrition Certificate or joined a nutrition course, the University Degree is required by law to provide a meal plan.

To help my clients to get the most out of their training plan, I decided to cooperate with a Registered Dietitian who is professionally qualified, and legally recognised, to prescribe nutrition plans. We work together to offer a balanced diet that will help the client to sustain their training program and achieve their targets without feeling like they are starving or lacking energy. To do so, we constantly monitor the client's progress and feelings, to ensure they are on the right pathway and do not struggle with training and diet.
